Three Minute Figure Drawing

Here's a three minute figure drawing drawn on newsprint with a magic marker. It is untouched, just as I scanned it. The scanner copied the image really rich, and I liked the way it turned out.

Sorry for the watermark/huge signature, but with the recent copyright problems, I gotta paste these on the images to protect myself. Hopefully, you all can look past that legality.

This is beautiful, I love the rhythm and flow of the marker lines through the legs. They describe the form so elegantly.

Nice! I could look at a blog devoted to just your figure drawings all day...watermarks and all.

Thanks Matthew and Daniel, for me it's all about the rhythm.

C.Deboda, Tiffany, Marcos, Art Bat, Craig, Mr. Breadcrumbs, thanks.

Ted, yeah, it's called the Orphan Works Act. Some members of congress are working with online image libraries to allow anonymous artwork to be claimed by these companies. Meaning, if someone removes your copyright and signature, these companies can claim your artwork -- and it's up to you to find your image among their data banks. Right now the onus is on them, but that responsibility would be on us if the law passes.

Maxnix, you take your clothes off, I'll draw you!

Gracia, Alfred, and Chromasketch, thanks a bunch.

Oh yeah, I know about that.
I thought you had personally experienced copyright problems.
